Hey, just wanted to update. I installed a JVC head unit with a color changing face plate, CD, AM FM, AUX and USB for iPod. Works well with my iPod Touch and has much more power and better sound than the stock unit!

It was such a simple install. I used the supplied sleeve and bent the tabs with a hook-needle nose pliers. It hasn't shaken out of place yet, so it's in there pretty good. It looks great because I matched faceplate with the color of the clock.

I blew the front stock speakers. The sixteen year old things couldn't put up with the new abuse, but the rear speakers were fine.

I replaced the fronts with 6x8s and the rears with 6x9s. Of course with any install, you run into a few dumb problems. I started with the rear deck because it's something I'd never done to my car and figured it would take longer. I bent the tabs that hold the back of the back seat up, but somehow got it back in with the help of a hammer. The front doors were a breeze because I've been in there plenty times before.
