A change of differential gears from your stock "2.73-to-1" to the "3.23-to-1" ratio will yield the most pulling power per dollar invested.
3.23 gears are installed on the FOMOCO 5,000-pound tow package. (no longer available)
A dual exhaust system will provide extra pulling power.
Walker H-Pipe and Walker #18134 glasspacks add about 20 HP over the single exhaust.
Severe-Service (Police) brake pads are necessary.
A Transmission cooler is necessary. -- B&M #40264
