Ok, so I have a 87 mgm, with either 100 or 200 thousand...not to sure...the way it runs I think it's got 200,00. But, anyway, I need to replace my water pump, but I dont know which kind I need....do I need a serpentine kind?? Any help is appreciated.

you can get any make waterpump from a parts store of couse factory parts would be the best choice and the serpentine pulley comes off your old pump and gets transfered to the new pump also you dont have to get new you can get a rebuilt pump hope this helps good luck

the new pump will not come with a pully. whatever your car has now (v-belt or serp) is what goes on the new pump. get a rebuilt pump, you'll probably save $100.00 plus the core charge when you return the old pump ,in box, to the parts store. if you don't have a pully puller, ask the parts store to do it for you. they probably won't charge you. good luck.
