I was trying to buy new tires today when I was informed that they couldn't do this because my wheel covers require some kind of key to remove them.

so does anyone know where I can get one of these online for a 98' MGM?

maybe what they consider a locking lugnut? have any pics of the problem you have? if it is for a hubcap, you can usually try and get a pair of needlenose or needlenose vicegrips in there to get the thing out. if it is a locking type lugnut that needs the key for it that fits in a socket, you can usually get by with hammering on a impact socket that is a bit too small to grip it and twist the locking lugnut out... if anything, try the ford dealer and have them order one. usually helps if you have original paperwork that would have the i.d.# for the key
