Most obvious I can think of is maybe bad cable connectors on the starter 'hot' wire (to the battery) or starter solenoid wire connections. What year is it?

Is there a 'click' sound when you turn the key to start? Does the starter motor turn over?

Yes just a simple ''click'' and nothing

As a shot in the dark, sometimes the starter motor brushes get hung up in their holders and thus no starter operation. Try rapping the starter motor body with a heavy tool . The brushes may free up and work again.

Otherwise, if the starter solenoid "clicks", it means 12v is reaching the starter terminal (if the cable has good connections on both ends) and something in the starter is at fault. This assumes the battery is at least up to 12.6v. If not, the solenoid will click but not enough voltage/current will be had to operate the starter.
