Hi. I own a 2007 Mercury Mariner V-6, AWD. A mechanic told me my rear brake lines are going bad and need replacing? He sent me two photographs as proof. Are these really going bad? Plus, what would happen if one or both gave way? Would I lose all my braking power or would my front brakes bear the burden? Thanks for your advise.
