Anyone have one of these? What would installing this do for you? I've read what it does but I still don't see how this would help...

K&N puts intense research into the quality of their products...their air filters are great, and i wouldnt question their oil filters...however, you wont gain hp like you will with a K&N air filter...it just may filter better than a cheap oil filter

i use hp 2010 on many applications. Very good filter that k&n makes. The number 1 benefit is the internal check valve that doesnt allow oil to back drain, the second is the 1" nut on the filter body. It makes it great to remove.

I use k&n oil and air filters in all my vehicles.

Yes,it does. And one more thing,if you need it for race applications, they provide safety wire holes for the oil filter on the 1" nut.
