Any ideas why the car would shake and idle rough when it is under 2000 rpm but when revved above that it runs fine. The title says its the emission light but its the check engine light that is on. Once the car is warmed up it stops doing that.

 

Sounds like an air/fuel problem. You might want to take it into the shop and have them check the VCT solenoid.
