i just got my milan. its an 06. im not sure if its the premeir or base. had to take the car from my younger sister(long story). its got a 6disc cd changer. power everything. cloth seats. sun roof. also heated mirrors. when i took the car it did not have the factory book in the glove box. i am curious how the heated mirrors turn on. do they turn on automatically when the defrost is turned on or is there a switch somewhere? any help would be great. im still getting to know the car, but its kinda hard when theres no book to look through. thanks in advance for the help!

go to www.motorcraftservice.com and click on owners guides on the left. enter your vehicle and you can download the owners manual. If there''s more than one revision, get the latest one (highest number).

ok now my next question is when i took the car back it was throwing a check engine code. the code is for "secondary air injection system fault"?

if it''s still under warranty, take it to a dealer and get them to fix it. if not, it may be a bad check valve in the air injection system. I''m used to older cars, so I wouldn''t be able to tell you which one. Hopefully one of the other guys will have more info.
