Hi, quick question,probably a stupid one. I am trying to reinstall my back seat, it has been out a couple years. In order to put the upper part of the rear seat in do I have to take out the side arm rest pieces? Can’t remember if I took them out when I took the seat out. I want to remove as little as possible because I can never get anything back in. This brings me to second question, I am also trying to put the paasenger side door panel back on after replacing window regulator. The clips keep falling off the cardboard, are these supposed to be glued on? I hate to pay someone to put this panel on but I’m losing patience with it, driving me nuts, thanks for your time. This is a 65 Monterey conv. BTW

 

I will assume that your Merc. is the same as a Ford Galaxie of the same era. Is there a Ford Club near you ? Ref. door cards: If they have been removed & installed too many times, the slots in the
card board wear out. Like your seat problem, talk to Ford owners. You may be forced to order new door cards. Good Luck.
