I am considering lifting my awd 2006 mountaineer does anybody know if
the suspension on the 2006 explorer is the same at the mountaineer? I do
not want to do a body lift.

Seeing the Exploder (LOL) is not full-time AWD I would''nt think so. Easy enough, just look up the lift kit for both and then compare part #''s.

you may just need to find a place that specializes in lift kits and ask them if the explorer stuff will fit a mountaineer. I''m pretty sure it''s the same body.

If you searched all the major names already and could not find a listing, then it will probably have to be a custom job. But that''s what custom shops are for. Look in the yellows and see if there is anything local. $$$$$$
