Exclamation 2008 keeps dying and dropping rpms

Hi all first post here. I have a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer and I like the car a lot. About 5-6 months ago it started doing this thing where it is sputtering and dropping RPMs down into like the 200s while idling. Wasnt an issue until it started to do it while driving and the service light came on. So I parked and slapped the OBD2 reader on it and got back the code P2135. Easy fix throttle body got cleaned out and replaced the throttle position sensor. Worked fine for about a day and the same thing as before kept happening. So I plugged the OBD2 reader back in and the system had no codes (I didn't clear the last one) Now I'm really stumped and worried its something bad. I'm no mechanic and can do small fixes but I feel our of my depth. Thanks in advance.
