ABS Light Comes on When rapid acceleration

you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere. Also, check that your spark wires are connected good at each end. It could also be bad/clogged injectors as far as the shaking part goes. You may also have a flaky speed sensor on one of the wheels (or whatever the lock-up sensor is that engages the ABS). Check the fluid levels in the brake system as well. if the fluid is almost too low, it may light up due to low level detection.

vacuum leaks could be anywhere in the system. just make sure everything is connected according to the diagram under the hood. The speed sensor should be coming out of the transmission for the speedo and cruise needs, but the abs sensors might be on the hubs (spindle portion actually). I'm not real up on abs systems since I've never had a vehicle with one so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
