I have 99 mountaineer and the doors unlocks by itself.


when I lock it, either with the remote or manually, within a few seconds it unlocks itself, first is the drivers side, then a few seconds/min later it unlocks all doors?


I replaced the drivers side front door lock actuator, and it still


does it!! any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

it sounds like its an issue with the transponder...

 

ARE ANY DOOR LIGHTS ON IT SOUNDS LIKE IT THINKS SOME ONE IS STILL IN CAR IF NOT ITS POSSIBLE HOOD SWITCH OR WIRING FOR SWICH IS BAD THINKING CAR CANT BE ARMED
