has anybody had a problem with the automatic door locks? I have an ''02 Mountaineer that shows door ajar and the interior lights stay on. when this happens the main switch in the drivers door won''t do anything but the passenger door switch still works. I just had a big fiasco with the heater control and still haven''t resolved that yet. I know it sounds like the main switch but that''s what I thought about the heater and 55 dollars later it still don''t work. any suggestions would be appreciated.

check the door light switch. make sure the nut is tight on it. if that doesn''t help, it may need to be replaced.
