The factory DVD entertainment system hanging in the ceiling of my 2004 Mountaineer is loose on the RH side, it bounces when ever I go over bumps. I'm trying to find a drawing or help on how to snug it up. I can see two screws near the front of the unit but can't locate or get to the other screws, such as under the DVD section on the RH side that should hold it tight to the roof. Anyone out there ever have this problem or fixed it?

I recall my 04 Premier had only one or two screws visible. Access to the other screws might require that we remove the DVD player first. I have not had time to "study" it, however if and when I find the solution I''ll post the details.

If you wish to only remove the dvd player from the ceiling, use the second file down... the 0008. You would use all the documents if you were doing the TSB and adding support to the roof and removing the headliner. All 5 files should walk you through doing that.

does anybody know the removal procedure for a 2006 dvd system. the one
in my truck is different than the 2004 model. I don''t have any storage
compartment. and i have 4 torx bolts above the dvd screen and i can''t find
anything else thats holding it in. it feels like its being held solidly on each
side.
