Hi, today we were going to look at new cars and we were strongly considering the Cadillac SRX until we saw the Mercury Mountaineer. The thing was great lots of room, nav system, dvd player, and more. But their was one big problem in the design that we quickly noticed, we noticed that the antenna was a fixed antenna. I find this to be really sicking since we own a 12 year old car and even that car has a power retractable antenna. So my question is will the deal install either a power retractable antenna, or a integrated window antenna? If we get a integrated antenna will they remove the slot for the fixed antenna, seal it up, and make it look like nothingwas there? I don't mind doing it after we get the SUV but since the guy convinced us that getting a lease was better I don't think we will be able to do this. Also I am getting the Montego and I didn't see a antenna on it I was wondering ifit is intergrated? Thanks for the helpEdited by: Chrisl0

Yea I looked into it, the dealer said they were willing to put one in. I don't mind doing it aftermarket but I don't know if I can with a lease.
