I have a 2003 mountaineer and need to use my keyless entry but presently don't have the codes because i never got it when i purchased the vehicle (used). From readingI understand there is A Permanent codesomewhere in/on the vehicle that will allow to reset the current code. Can someone please tell me where on the vehiclei will find it for my mountaineer. Thanks.

when i bought mine, it was on a card in the arm rest. the owen was nice enough to leave it there. otherwise i dont think its anywhere on the car. try calling the dealer and telling them the VIN. maybe they will be able to help you.
