Default Low idle

I have a 2004 mountaineer and sometimes when i start my truck it sometimes shakes and cuts off. The when idling it seems to be lower than 1000 rpms. I was wondering what causes this to happen and what can i do about this? Thanks

No not yet. But I was reading something online and it said check or replace the throttle position sensor. So I'm going to try that and see what happens.
