I have a 2001 sable with the duratec engine. The low coolant light has been coming on every once in a while even though the level is not low and the temperature is also good. How can I get the light to stop coming on? Or where is the sensor, can I unplug it?

I had that problem in my 99. Didn't look like the coolant was low but I added a very small amount and the light stayed out. Maybe you want to try that.
