I have an 04 mercury mountaineer premier 4.6 liter and when I bought it about a year ago it had been sitting in a barn for 3 years so I changed the transmission fluid and filter and it would delay going in to reverse sometimes it takes over 5 seconds so I replaced the selonoid pack and now it goes in to gear just fine but it still shifts rough from 2nd to 3rd and will not shift in to overdrive at all and that's when the check transmission light comes on and my overdrive off flashes! Does anyone know what else I can do to get this lined out?
