I have a 2000 mountaineer and none of the controls in the steering wheel works (no radio, cruise, etc.). I don't see a fuse that's blown. Anyone else have this problem?Edited by: kboy69

Could be the connection in the steering wheel, have seen some of thosethat have loose connection. The airbag unit is also connected in the same region. Has the car been in a frontal crash where the bags deployed? If so they may not have been reconnected.

It could be, because the airbag light is also on. Is it just a matter of taking the cover off the steering column to get to the connection?

Let me do a little research on how to remove this and get back to you. There's a couple links I'll check on this afternoon
