Default travel trailer towing

I'm looking to purchase a used travel trailer, 25ft, around 4500lbs. I have a 2007 Mountaineer Premier with AWD V/8. I would need to get a trailer hitch but would I be able to tow a trailer this size? Thanks

The trailer is too large. your maximum towing capacity is 3500 lbs. If you have the aux. climate control, it'll be 3000 lbs. That's trailer PLUS load by the way.

It's important to understand that when it comes to towing, you are only as strong as your weakest link. For example, if your hitch has a maximum capacity of 4,000 pounds, but your vehicle can only tow 3,000 pounds - you CANNOT safely tow up to the 4,000 max of the hitch. Make sure to do the research in order to see how much your tow vehicle can tow. If you need a trailer hitch, we have plenty of those to choose from! Happy towing!
