I have a 1996 Mercury mystique. Recently the dome light, trunk light and Radio all stopped working at once. I guess it's all conected, but How and what do I do about it? Also the fan on the heater has quit again. I have had it fixed at the dealers 3 other times and they said something about it being a factory defect. Anyway my warranty is up now and I would rather fix it myself if possible. Any advice at all would be Great!!!

Guess its a blown fuse. You will need to find the source of the high current or short. Look for a shafe in a wire at any hinges, and check the fan current.

Not a blown fuse, checked that. I was told it was a breaker. I need to find out which one it is now.

Check under the drivers cowl panel(under windsheild wipers). There are two fuse links red wire codes that have had a problem melting in the past on contours and mystiques.
