I have a 96 mystique GS with a 2.0l/ 4cyl + I can't get my alternator to work. The battery gets 15v when the car runs, but it won't hold a charge. The battery holds it's charge when I charge it with a battery charger, but looses it with the car running. I checked all fuses, all grounds, and all connections + wires to the alt. battery, and starter. They are all clean + have continuity. I replaced the alt. + still have the same problem.


Does any one have a clue?

Check your battery....sometimes when your alternator goes it may completely drain your battery so you may need to replace the battery as well.
