Hi.
My gram has a 1995 Mercury Mystique. The battery keeps going dead after the car sits for a couple of days.
The fuses have been checked with a volt meter and we thought at first that the ABS computer was bad, so its fuse was taken out. This did not solve the problem.
Next we unhooked the under the hood light and the trunk light, but this did not solve the problem either.
Tonight we ran a load test on the negative battery terminal. We found a bright light on the test light that blinked dim then blinked bright again like a relay is kicking in and out.
Has anyone heard of this before or know which relay this could be? Please help.
