2000 Mercury Marquis LS - Steering Wheel Vibrations Normal?
Hello,
I am new to this forum. I recently purchased a used 2000 MMLS, and am now happy with it after investing to fix it up mechanically.
I noticed that as compared to my former 2009 Toyota Camry, that whenever I ride over a bump or lump on the highway, that I feel the vibrations transmitted right through the steering wheel.
The dealer had performed some front end work on the car, and tells me that everything is now tight, and the wheels aligned, and balanced.
My question: are these steering wheel vibration transmissions characteristic of this type of car?
Again, the dealer said everything is fine, and there are no persistant rebounds from the macpherson struts in the front.
