Question 74 Marquis rimblow problem

Hi,

since the horn in my 74 Marquis doesn´t stop to sound, I suppose the rimblow is defect. Is there any chance to renew these?

The rubber has probably shrunk causing a constant contact. I guess if you could replace the rubber in the wheel, that would fix it, but I wouldn't know how to go about doing that. You could always try to find a steering wheel from a 75 or so that didn't use the rim blow horn ans swap them out.

thank you. I´d to do little to bring it to that condition, except for the 460 engine which had to be replaced because of main bearing failure. As an intended side effect, the new (modified by www.hemifordman.com) engine has a couple of additional HP. I´ll add some current pictures soon.
