I just bought a 92 Grand Marquis with 47000 miles. The car is like new on the inside and has a few scratches on the exterior. The trim molding and bumper covers are faded but otherwise the car looks good for its age.
I have been dealing with the usual used car issues and so far feel like I got a great deal. I have been driving old chevy trucks for years, and Im not used to all the bells and whistles. ( literally ) I am trying to figure out how to disconnect the airbag audio alarm. When I first purchased the car the airbag light was flashing and I thought I would outsmart it by taking out the bulb. Now it beeps. Im not interested in having the airbag system fixed, I just want the beeping to stop. Any suggestions? I really dont want to have to put the bulb back in but I will if it comes to that. Maybe I can paint it black. Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated.
