mind if i ask? hmmm i just my car's ac condenser replaced and i have no problem whatsoever about it.

now, my problem is this. do i always have to look for aftermarket parts everytime i experience faulty parts on my 86 gmc caballero? my budget's getting drained. i recently have to put on a new muffler just to make it sound better and i regretted it. my dad's the one who installed all parts mentioned btw.

but now that i'm away from home, i guess i have to learn things the hard way.

with a mid 80s ride like that, you're bound to end up replacing everything in it at least once (except the engine if you take care of it). You don't have to get aftermarket parts. You can get direct replacement parts from parts stores like Autozone. Though you should shop around a bit and call a few places (like dealers) to check on prices. also, if you can install the parts yourself, that will save loads of money. I wish I had a car like yours. That, or a truck. But my land yacht will do nicely until then.
