First car is 1991 Grand Marquis
Here's my story about how i got my first Grand Marquis.
Originally i had a 1995 F-150 5 speed that i used to drive around before i had my license. After beating on it and putting almost 200k on it, i decided that i need to find a more decent first car for when i get my license. So one day im at my buddy's house and he had this big boat of a car sitting in the backyard. I asked to take a look at it and its none other than a 1991 Grand Marquis GS. He tells me that he wants to get rid of it because he's getting a brand new car for graduation and it's been sitting for 2 years. I take a look under the hood and at the body and it looks pretty good, just dirty. Looking at the odometer i see it only has 58,000 miles on it. i offer 300 and he tells me to come back tomorow and he will consider it. That night i sell my truck to a friend of mine for 300$(hell of a deal). I bring cash in hand the next day and i drive out with the marquis with title and keys in hand. Back in my barn i decide it needs a little work. Valve cover gaskets, pcv valve, TPS, intake gasket, fuel filter, full tune-up and a oil change later she was running really good. I still currently drive her everywhere and i love the car, but it also has alot of flaws or problems that makes me dissapointed but i couldn't ask for a better first car
