Howdy those on board, I have just newly boarded. I have joined to help my Girlfriend troubleshoot some issues with her 200 Mercury Cougar and to help those to solve similiar issues with their vehicles My background is in Hotrodding and classic and muscle cars. I custom fabricate and modifify early classic cars and trucks . I guess you would call me an old school guy.Hence being I am more a troubleshooter, but finding it very hard to get issues solved on vehicles equipped with computers. It seems the old school guy is a dying race. If a Dealer or workshop cannot solve the problem then they donot want to know about it. I guess that is why we are her. Now don''t get me wrong the Cougar has been a real good car, it is just the people around diagnosing it have been a real issue. Anyway see you in the Tech section.
