I own a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer with 4.6, 3 Valve V-8 and 6 Speed Transmisssion. It has a lag or hesitation when you start out with just a little touch on the throttle. I took it in and was told that it could not be fixed by the dealership. The mechanic drove it and said he would E-Mail Ford and that is the last I have heard about it. Help, the vehicle only has 6,000 miles on it.
