checked out the car for sale, and I'll agree, for that kinda money, if it brings that,we should at least be driving an 06 LOL...

dont think thats gonna happen though, just saw two 94's last week that were for sale, the guy asking $2800 and said he wasn't even getting much more than tire kickers

Of course being so rare, he was probably asking "too little"

EDIT: Lots of the military guys do buy new europeansedans and ship them back here since that saves them some tax money as opposed to buying here in the states. Some of those can be purchased a bit cheaper and being in the military you get your vehicle shipped back on the Gov't LOL

Yeah, that's something I never figured out.

When I first came over, I thought, with the exchange rate, I could get myself a nice European sedan.

Wrong. I would have to pay the same amount of Euros in Dollars. Oh well, I think the US style (looks at Pontiac's' for example) is much more innovative then over there.

Most of the cars look like Asian in these days, aerodynamic and so, fuel efficient etc. etc.

Greetings!

i still haven't figured out why that european ford and gm both such nice looking and "faster" cars on their side than we get stateside. In fact the aussie versions from both companies should be IMO selling in the US.

We seem to always get the lesser versions of anything that comes from the company's "overseas division"

It's a matter of taste, I like the US styles better.

When it comes to "lesser" versions, well, there's lot to it. One thing is that, due to the higher speeds, many parts in cars, besides aerodynamics, are built differently, more powerful, stronger etc. etc.

Not needed for slower speeds, so why pay money for it. It always cracks me up with i.e. power seats. I adjust mine once, and that's it. It should be an option, so that you only have to pay for it if you want it.

I like the euro styling on those cars that seem to never make it here, but their costs are always so much higher - at least we "do" have some of the lower costs in our MGM's.

Power seats are good i guess if you have multiple drivers, only one here so like you just set it and never move the thing. Just hate when you take it for service and some guy wants to play with the seat controls

Yeah, that happened when I had mine in the shop last week. In order to do the readout and check the Airbag module, they moved the seats.

Only thing I can't figure out is why the inside rear-view mirror and the seatbelt (driver side) were re-adjusted.

I understand that certain individuals would give everything for taking my old battle cruiser for a run, but the number of those is probably limited to 0.5.

And as I mentioned many times before, thus I'm driving a true US (well, Canadian built) cruiser, I WANT A CUPHOLDER!

Greetings!

hahahha I'll go along with the 0.5 deal hahaha... Grab that Marauder and you'll find that number will increase

Now for the cupholder I could see if Walmart has any of those Hang on the door types

Not really, there are much better choices than a Marauder.

And regarding cupholders, not really, at the door? Here's an option:

Yes, with the toilet paper roll cover on the rear deck? Suuuuuure! LOL

I have to dig, I got a picture where a guy installed a floor shifter instead of the one on the steering wheel. Sweet!

Greetings!
