A guy has my villager in his garage with the intake manifold off. We
now located the knock sensor but we found out one of the heater pipes
(metel) had a leak and I'm not paying $300.00 for a new one. I went to
a junk yard and found one for a steal for only $10.00 he he this made
my day!

My wife has a "95" villager and I can't locate the onboard puter
hookup, anyone know where it might be? My "96" is located next to the
fuse box, because of the switchover, but the "95" is somewhere else.

I been online looking so this is what I came up with.

A few sights say it's located on the transaxle on the LH side behind
coolant reservoir. The connecters I only found were on the trans but
didn't make any since at all.

I do have some good news thou......I replaced a 02 sensor on the "95"
villager and the knocking went away, maybe a bad mixture of gas and air
out of balance cause a hot spot or something.

I bought a OBD ll scanner awhile back and I think it's the best tool I ever had so far in finding trouble cods and bad sensors.

I ordered a sm exaust section with a flex in it for my wifes van
because she hit something and trashed it. Midas said it would cost
$400.00 for one but I ordered one at Murrays for $175,00.

Unfortunatly everything for those vans are extremely expensive.. Anytime you can find the parts aftermarket and do the work yourselfi would definatly recommend it... You said Murrays do you live in michigan?

Yes I live in Michigan. I have Murrays, Auto vantage, Auto zone and
Stewerts near by, not to mention the dealerships up the street. You
know the dealerships will always take a big bite out of you.
