I recently purchased a 1993 grand marquis with 62000 miles and is mechnically sound, I am looking for more horse power performance, is it expensive to convert to a dual exhaust system or am I better just going with a high flow muffler swingle outlet. Hello everyone

yes it is expensive, but you will see far more gains than you will with a dual outlet muffler.

I have a 1989 Cougar LS. I need to know where I can find a dual exhaust catback system. I hate the system that is on it right now it robs power. It has the dual out from manifold which goes into a dual inlet to single muffler.

but in many areas, adapting your exhaust system to a true duals etup is against emissions laws

ONLY if you bypass cats. If you install 2 cats for two pipes ypu will be fine.

Default Grand Marquis Dual Exhaust System

Walker 2" Dual Exhaust

Custom Exhaust Exits.
Dual exhausts on your '92 -'95 Grand Marquis will ad 20 horsepower, according to Ford Motor Co.
I bought the parts from Amazon, installed them myself to get a proper fit, and then had it all welded up at MufflerMasters, Avondale, AZ.

Walker H-Pipe - Part #40383
MagnaFlow Glasspacks. - Part #18134
Walker Tailpipes -
Part # 46789 - Left Side.
Part # 46761 - Right Side
Superior *28-6201 - 2 1/2" x 6" Stainless Steel, Slant-cut Exhaust Tips
Stainless steel Bolts, Nuts, & Lock Washers were used to attach H-Pipe.
H-Pipe Gaskets (2) = Fel-Pro #60924
