Hi, I'm new here but not new to merk's.
Here is my Merk's description, pulled from another forum I'm on.

2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS
Mods are...
Performance-
SCT X-cal3, Custom tune by Lonnie @BlueOvalChips.com for 91 octane
Converted to OEM dual exhaust pipes with Flowmaster 44 mufflers, and 2 foot long 4" tips, Rear Cats removed.
4 Slotted and drilled brake rotors.
Ceramic pads.
Motocraft spark plugs
Custom "cold air" intake with Specter conical filter. Heat shield made by a member here.
J-moded Transmission

Other stuff-
Autometer Tach mounted on dash
MSD tach driver p.n. 8913.
Class 3 trailer hitch with 4" arm
Headlight relay and wiring upgrade with 40 amp fuses and relays.
5 1/2" Driving lamps mounted behind grille.
Cornering lights rewired with high beam's.
Stock grille painted black, in the center.
4.6 and V8 emblem's on fenders.
"Mercury" emblem on tail light (where stock mercury emblem was) from a sable.
Gold mercury emblem for deck lid.
20% tint all around.
Mercury center caps, Stainless trim rings.
Scangauge2.
Sony radio with 12" subs x2 and a 750 watt amp.
Cobra xrs 9930 radar detector.
Rear bumper tuck
Lower grille mesh, black.
Lowes/HomeDepot chin spoiler
Chrome trim blackout in progress
"VHT Nightshades" treatment on rear taillights and reflector pannel
Suspension-
4 Bilstein heavy duty shocks.
Airlift 1000 Air springs kept @10psi

makes sense. If I 4x4 my MGM (yeah... redneck I am) there are definitely going to be some spots on it either behind the grill or on whatever bumper I mount to the added frame reinforcements.

I just purchased those same Center Caps for my 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. My concern for those center caps are the lug nuts. Why couldn't I use the same style lug nuts but for the Mercury Grand Marquis selection? Thanks!
