Welcome!

Well, you asked for it, so you shall receive it, your first advice: State what model you own. Many Mercury's out there.

Greetings.

You are correct, although i am not all that computer literate, there is no escuse...I currently own a 2000 Mercury Sable LS Touring. Never knew there was a forum out here for us Mercury lovers. Hope to gain some knowlegde and advice mainly on a tune up. Hope all of you out that can help me...Need a list of all the parts needed for a tune up. I look forward to any help you all can offer...

Cheers

Thanks for the update on the model. No need to bea computer literate for that. Sable is similar to Taurus, many parts are interchangeable.

Thus I like the Taurus better, the comfort in the Sable is outstanding, no Taurus I've ever driven came even close to a Sable.

Same here, there are many forums out there, however, most of them cover too many vehicles at once, not specific enough. It's fine if you are looking for something about a similar or identical part (like transmission), however, all those gizmo's depending on specific model and year are not covered.

This forum here seems to be almost dead, if I may say so. Not too many posters out there, but hey, some of us try to keep it up.

Well thanks for the welcome 92Mercury! I do see it is kind of quiet here, but with new models (designs) on the horizon for Mercury, and Ford maybe there will be some new life breathed into this forum. Would hate to see it go.

Well, it's like the products which sort of make a company, it's the people as well.

Someone gave us this forum, it's up to us to keep it alive, thus sometimes messages don't seem to come across very well?

Greetings.
