Hood advice

Hood Advice.
In my view, it would be faster, cheaper, and easier to just sand and shoot the hood.
Finding a hood that paint-matches yours, and the delivery cost, the labor to mount the new hood, and the time involved seems to make the hood replacement a bad idea, when compared to the cost of masking and shooting just the hood.
Check the U-Tube videos for tips and tricks.
Good luck !

Hood Repair & Paint
Thanks, BlueBoy -- How's about "Before & After" pix to show us how it turned out ??
It's a lot of fun (and work) to restore, modify, and/or upgrade our old Mercurys, and we can ALL learn as we go.
The 95 MERC had its 25th Birthday on May 21st -- still running strong, with great handling and fuel mileage.
Cut-outs for Exhaust Tips add ground clearance and give a more modern look.
