Does anyone know how to unplug the wiring harness that is in the drivers door jam? There is a short there with the power windows. I took the boot off and and see the wiring but I can't get it to unplug.

most Ford wire harnesses have the tab over angle type connectors. some of them are press and split to remove. if pressing down on the tab doesn't help, try lifting the tab to pull them apart (be careful not to lift much or you'll break it). They are usually tough to separate. Do be careful though. When they do separate, they usually come completely apart instantly. Try wiggling them back and forth to break the initial friction. That may help reduce the force needed to get them apart.
