Is anyone familiar with the LTS model being any different from other FOMOCO products as far as the blower resistor? The one in my car is a big black box with a sticker on it that says it is a variable resistance control unit????

Any help would be appreciated!! THANK YOU!!!

Welcome to the forum. I''ve ever heard of a LTS model. What makes you think they would manufacture it with different parts than other Sables? 1995 is a last year body style, right? Are you having trouble getting the right resistor? Let me know.Edited by: conan312

I have been told by a 21 year mercury tech that they were manufactured different only for two years and it is an expensive control unit, not just a resistor. I have a friend that works at a lincoln/mercury dealer to contact for parts...but haven''t had time yet.

Do you work for linc/merc?? Can you look it up in a manual?? I have replaced many of these and this one looks different. This car has a digital dash and an adjustable high to low switch with no 1-2-3-4 settings, it just moves up and down with no detent.
