Hello!
I recently bought a 1996 Mercury Sable wagon. Nice car,but one problem.... The compartment that houses the ciggarette lighter will not open when I push on it. Have tried to pry it open....no go! I do not smoke,but want to use the lighter portion to plug in my GPS.
HELP!!!!!!!!!

 

That's odd. Is it catching on anything? That's the type that pulls out from underneath the stereo area of the console, right?

 

Finally got it open with a small very thin screwdriver. Thanks for your help though!!!
