sliced open oil pan

Default sliced open oil pan

Got a question i have a sliced open oil pan and wanted to change it out. I looked on all data and they were telling me a long round about way to do it. I have a 1992 grand mar does anyone new a easier way to do it im really not tryin to make a all day thing out of it.

i used Jb wield to fix the leak but was thinking there might6 be easier ways to do things

Is it a double sump pan? If so, no way out except removing the engine to clear the cross member between the two sumps. if so, there is a way to remove the pan with just raising the motor a little. Otherwise, if the weld repair worked, leave well enough alone.
