I have a 1999 Mercury Sable with a Polar PS 3015 starter and since changing my car battery I cant get my car to start with the remote. I took it to a mechanic and he suggested that the factory theft system isn't engaging the fuel pump since the car only turns over and wont start with the remote but will start fine with the key. Any suggestions?

 

You should contact an aftermarket shop that installs them, particually that model and ask them. If you don't mind a small fib tell them they installed it.
