Does anyone know how the coolant bypass hose from the manifold to the expansion tank on 2003 Sable -3.8 OHV engine is secured. Dealer parts diagram shows a metal tube secured to the upper manifold, but mine is a hose. I'm afraid there may be a T connection under there.

 

bob, you may be looking at the wrong schematic cause Merc hasn't used the 3.8 since the old body style of the 80's and early 90's. you either have a 3.0 Vulcan (junk) or a 3.0 24V Duratec (not junk).
