Speedo and tach all working fine. Odo and trip meter stick on occasion. I can knock on it from the front and it starts up again. Simple lubricant issue?

Do they stick when after you reset the trip? Or just randomly?

How do you notice? The tenth mile marker stops spinning? And then you give it a Fonzie and it starts spinning again? It doesn''t sound like the cable if a smack so far awy from the it gets things moving again. I guess there is a seperate one since the speedo keeps going. The only thing you can lube is the cable but I am leaning toward the mechanical/reset button end of it. If it stops and you reset, does it start working again?

Exactly, i noticed the tenth wheel really. Like it wanted to move but just wouldn''t. Gave it the Fonzie and it started up, but quickly quit. Yesterday it worked fine all day. So I still can''t tell if temperature is an issue.

When I reset the trip when I first noticed the problem, it was still dead. So, your thought of the reset button end may be worth an investigation. I would think a little lube would fix that.
