my 97 sable ls premium has a factory 6-disc changer in the trunk. its been giving an ulser as of late. first it was fine. then it got picky on which discs it would play. now it just keeps scans disc 1, disc 2, disc 3, etc. until eventually it will say no cd or code1 and automatically goes back to radio. now here is the kicker. yesterday i put in disc that came as a bonus with a cd i purchased and it only has three songs on it. it will always play that cd no matter what slot i put it in or how i rearrange the cds. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

 

your best bet is to take it to a stereo shop...i wouldnt go to a dealership...an aftermarket unit will cost far less...it sounds to me like the trunk unit is going bad, but i am no professional.
