I have a 2003 Sable LS premiun, and want to install a cd player. Looks like that the changer on the trunk is the easier. Any other alternatives like an indash cd player or something with easier access than the trunk

your sable may be pre-wired for a trunk changer. then go to a junk yard and get astereo that hada cd changer as an option. ford stereos are some of the easiest to change in the industry.

 

Thank you, do you know which is the brand or the manufacture of the SABLE changer, maybe I can get a cheaper one on ebay

 

I looked at mine and all it says is 6-disk CD. Not sure who Ford used for their high end sound systems then. I have the Mach audio upgrade which is way better than most stereos I've bought and installed in past cars.
