I'm trying to replace the bypass hose on 2003 Sable -3.8L OHV engine. Dealer parts diagram shows a metal tube routed under intake manifold with hoses at each end. My vehicle has a single hose also routed under the manifold. It is secured somehow. I'm afraid to try to dislodge it because I'm concerned that there's a "T" connection.

 

hey bob, you may be looking at the wrong schematic cause merc hasn't used the 3.8 since the old body style. you either have a 3.0 Vulcan (junk) or a 24V Duratec 3.0 (good stuff)
