i have a 1996 mercury sable and latley its been getting hot. and in the past it has gotten hot and then it dies immeditaly. and it was the ground wire causing the whole car to stop running. but i was driving down the freeway today and it started getting hot. i got off the freeway and pulled over and turned it off for a little bit to let it cool down thinking it just got warm. but that didnt help very much. i managed to get it home and now its sitting in my grauge. any thoughts? my uncle has mechanical background and he thinks it could be the fan?? he didnt say which fan or show me where so i dont know what hes talking about. any help is greatly appriciated.
